"yeah, Usually I'm the sour one around here. But compared to everyone else, I'm the Goth Bird of Happiness!" This was by far too much fun to draw. I drew Danny, mostly just experimenting with frames... and then I drew Sam, not actually intending to finish it... But, because I had watched My Brother's Keeper that morning, this turned out. And I love it to death. I love hwo she's so expressionless, I love the charcoal halo thing around her frame, I love how I managed to use a black marker to save my black pencil crayon from being a half inch long. I love how she's so pale, and how I managed to shade it just slightly with both gray and a peachy-skin colour. (Although she's almost too pale, if you ask me.) But most of all, I love the bird. I kicks mighty ass, that does. It rocks. And it's for you, Meg, for this War of Gifts must go on! It must! It must!
